Submitting Community Service Hours & Paid Work Hours

The form and process for Community Service/Paid Work Hours has been updated to reflect the new statute.

Students must meet the minimum Community Service Hours OR Paid Work Hours. The hours cannot be combined.

Reporting Your Hours

• Students still need to submit a proposal form to the counselor for approval before doing any community service or paid work hours to be sure it will count.
• Paid work hours will be accepted starting as of July 1, 2022. Any student working at that time can submit paid work hours.
• Students must submit a pay stub for paid work hours to be accepted that includes their name, their company’s name, and pay period.
• Students will need to submit their logged hours and reflection of work/service prior to the hours being added to Focus.
• Focus will document both community service and work hours to be reported to Bright Futures. However, you cannot combine hours.
